Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I feel your warmth against me; I snuggle closer its cold tonight.
I feel your breath; the steady rhythm of innocent dreams.
I feel your fur against my face; I wonder if you forgot to shave.
I feel your velvet jowls; they twitch against my arm
I feel your paw in my hand….
I slide my lid open I peer into the darkness and watch as my dog sleeps with his head on your pillow and quietly I weep for your shadow
You said you loved me, or were you just being kind
Or am I losing mind
Unfair is the want of a child
Unfair is the careless stranger
Unfair is the lover
my work space is now complete (Taken with instagram)
Stupid girl cuts out her heart and serves it on your silver platter
It bleeds
Rubies dropping on the floor clinking off the wooden panels
His words a thousand glass shards
sand stripping away her very fibre
Her soul destroyed by careless distance
She whispers to the wind her dying breath
a desiccated corpse

Playing make believe in the dying embers of summer’s bliss. The wind and storms rage on not touching the tattered heart clinging to the dying beats of battered loves dying trust
Words and actions were what was given
But the words were venom, omitted truths and shadowy poisonous lies
The actions were violent and callous severing the lifeline that fed and nourished the lover creating the shrivelled cursing crone
